Just a quick update today, I am now starting back into Macromedia Flash 8, so start to expect some flash animations pop up soon on some of my web sites.

It has been soooo long since I could last login on my FTP! So any way a lot has been updated / worked, for one NAGC has gotten a entirely new site, and I just submitted the updated NAGC RSS Feed Widget to yahoo, so they can post it up for download. The NAGC Fragism Forums got hacked so I have now gotten even more hosting from my friend Nick G. More on the NAGC Site would be that I have finished the RSS Reader, and I have cleaned up the site, along with adding all the little details, like 'alts' and 'titles' to all the images. Now I just need to update this site after I finish the OWN Broadcasting Web Site, which it's due day is by Dec. 1st, so that will be fun trying to finish that site by then, but it can be done. Ok so, thanks for reading!

New site...theme...?! I wanted to change the look of my site a bit, but most importantly I took some time to find some good validation sites, like http://feedvalidator.org and others for XHTML, XML, and CSS. To my surprise, my code was a bit 'buggy', so I took that into thought, and decided to not only update the code and make corrections, but change the look as well. So here you have it! I do plan to add a navigation bar, also a few more pages, like downloads, and more content for you to interact with.

As most of my friends know, I have installed Vista Beta RC1, I love it, it's the best OS on the market...well soon to be, and YES I have been on the latest version of Mac OS, so I can fairly state my opinion, knowing what both sides of the field look like. I have uploaded a ton of screen shots onto my Flickr page, so if any of you reading this know my Flickr page URL then go look it up and view all the high resolution shots of what I was doing the first day I got it. I would continue this little post and rave about all the sweet features Vista RC1 has to offer, but that would take days to type up, and spell check for that matter. :)

Alright, where to start... Ah, ok well my NAGC Clan Site is now FULLY PHP, soon to have admin, but even now is very impressive and I have spent a lot of time making some really cool scripts for this one. One of my favorite scripts on that site is the News Reader, on the News Page. It reads the URL that you enter for your very own .xml file, so you can view cnn.com's news on that page, by default it displays the clan news, so it's still serving it's purpose, but yet very functional. Also the spam-proof email sender-thingy' I made on the Join Page, yet again a very cool script. Ok, now off the NAGC, this site has a pretty nice update as well, well it might not be nice for you, but for me (the admin) it is. The script I used for the NAGC News page now has it's share on this site, meaning I have made a different script dedicated to this site, so now all I need to do when adding new posts, is edit this rss.xml file and the script will do all the work for me. It runs through this file and seeks out the 'title', 'link', and 'description' tags, then returns them onto this page, with proper div's and all. This script helps me so much compared to my old methods of posting news or updates, where I had to type out the content, put it into the HTML file, and then place it into this file. So that being said, you will find a lot more news and updates on this site, so keep reading!

A lot of attention has been directed towards the NAGC Clan Site this past two weeks; you can view the current beta at http://nagc.fragism.com/2.0/. When you view the site it will display a JS Pop-Up so don't freak out, just read it and keep going. The current beta out (as of 9/5/06) is 1.2.4, currently only NAGC Members can read release notes on the beta version, so just keep viewing the site and you will find the new additions and so on.

The images on this site are now fully dynamic, before I had them on a table to space between text, but when I would edit existing text or add new text to this site they would space away. So now I went ahead and fixed them so the text will form around them, thus making a easier flow for all this stuff to read.

My brand new RSS Feed is now up to help everyone find my news and updates a lot quicker and for most people, more conveniently. Expect a new theme for the NAGC Clan site very soon and some more Web 2.0 integration into my site, and possibly some of my other creations.
